I want to help them be the best doctors they can be. I hope to touch their lives in a positive way.

Director of Behavioral Science

Schools Attended: University of Dayton and University of Buffalo

Why lead this program?

I have been involved in this Residency Program since its inception. My professional life is deeply tied to the program and the impact it has on the Niagara Falls Community. The program has given this community many Family Practice Physicians, who are dedicated to the health and well-being of each person and the community in which they live.

Favorite thing about working with the residents:

Over the years, my responsibility has been to assist residents to create a deeper understanding of the patients they encounter through focusing on the context that each person lives in. Research projects that each resident participates in looks at the variables that need to be examined in order to assist patients in becoming healthier. All of this is achieved as each resident reflects on his/her daily experience contributing to the program, fellow residents, and medical students in a constructive learning experience.

Hobbies & Interests:

I play tennis on a regular basis. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, sharing the experiences we have in being committed to the community and reaching out to those in need.
