2019 Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Gold-Plus Quality Achievement Award

For implementing specific quality improvement measures outlined by the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association for the treatment of stroke patients.

Univera Health Certificate of Excellence

For the highest overall performance in Surgical Care Improvement Project (SCIP) measures. SCIP is a national partnership of organizations committed to improving the safety of surgical care by reducing postoperative complications.

Restorix Health Wound Center of Excellence Award

The Wound Center of Excellence award is presented to centers that meet or exceed national wound care quality benchmarks in areas including healing outcomes and safety, along with a patient satisfaction rate of 95 percent or higher.

Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP) is an independent, non-profit accreditation organization recognized by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

Memorial Medical Center has been recognized for high quality care in a number of areas. It was one of only 137 hospitals nationwide selected to participate in Aligning Forces for Quality (AF4Q), a quality improvement initiative that aims to improve the quality, efficiency and equity of care.

Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center has received multiple awards from the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Get With The Guidelines® Quality Achievement Awards including the 2019 Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award. The award recognizes Memorial’s commitment and success in implementing a higher standard of care by ensuring stroke patients receive treatment according to nationally accepted guidelines.

Memorial’s Schoellkopf Health Center has attained a five-star quality rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services as posted on Nursing Home Compare, the official U.S. government website for Medicare.
