Volunteers Make a Difference

Memorial Medical Center volunteers enjoy a rewarding experience assisting patients and staff members throughout the hospital and in our satellite facilities.

Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center welcomes all interested in volunteering, whether you are a retiree looking to stay involved in the community, a student looking to gain experience and knowledge in the medical field, or someone willing to fill their spare time.  The option to work directly with patients and/or behind the scenes is available to all volunteers.

As key members of the Memorial team, volunteers:

N

Meet and greet patients and visitors

N

Staff the information desk and gift shop

Our volunteers are an extension of our care and compassion.

There has never been a better time to join the Memorial team!

To begin the application process, please complete and submit our New Volunteer Information Packet, Junior Volunteer Application, Student Intern Application or College Intern Application.

After applying there is a required TB test, interview and orientation. All volunteers must have good citizenship to be considered.

For more information on volunteering or Auxiliary membership, contact Judy Villani, Director of Volunteer Services, at 716.278.4440 or volunteers@nfmmc.org.

Accommodations may be possible if there is a specialty area you wish to focus on.

Volunteers are asked to work a minimum of three hours a week. While on duty, they receive free parking in our attached garage and a ticket for a free meal in the 10th Street Cafe. We honor all our volunteers for their valuable contributions during a luncheon held each year. Many of our volunteers are also members of the Auxiliary of Memorial Medical Center.
