NIAGARA FALLS, NY — Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center (NFMMC) is proud to announce that its Wound Center has been awarded the prestigious RestorixHealth Center of Excellence Award for July- December 2023. This honor is complemented by the distinguished title of Distinguished Center of Excellence, which is given to a center that achieves the Center of Excellence distinction in two consecutive award periods within a single calendar year. The center’s outstanding patient satisfaction rate of over  96% was one of the key factors contributing to this recognition.

“These awards are a testament to our center’s expertise in both wound care and patient satisfaction,” said Joseph Ruffolo, President and CEO at NFMMC. “It also shines a light on the teamwork of our staff and the hospital’s support, which are both crucial in achieving superior patient outcomes.”

The Wound Center of Excellence Award recognizes centers that meet and exceed clinical, operational, and patient satisfaction standards. Memorial has been the recipient with this award for the third time in four terms, highlighting its unwavering dedication to excellence and its position as a leader in innovating wound care management.

“Our team’s dedication to delivering unparalleled wound care sets our center apart,” said Nicole Thomson, Program Director of the Wound Center of Niagara. “These accolades reinforce our mission to improve patient well-being and uphold a standard of excellence in our practice.”
