NIAGARA FALLS, NY —  Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center (NFMMC), an independent regional medical center serving the Greater Niagara region in northwestern New York, is excited to announce a groundbreaking partnership with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Niagara Counties SNAP-ED program to present a transformative nutritional program called “Spice Up Your Life.” The initiative aims to empower individuals and families in the Niagara Falls community to make healthier choices by incorporating flavorful, nutritious spices into their diets.

Starting May 23, the series will be held at the Golisano Conference Room, located at 533 10th Street, Niagara Falls, NY, every Thursday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., and continuing on May 30, June 6, and June 13.

Through engaging and interactive sessions, participants will learn about the benefits of incorporating spices into their meals, how to use the spices to enhance flavor without adding extra calories or sodium, and learn practical tips for shopping and preparing meals with spices. Each session will be led by knowledgeable professionals from the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Niagara County SNAP-ED program.

As an incentive for participation, attendees who complete the entire four-session series will receive complimentary spice kits valued at $25. These kits contain a selection of high-quality spices to help participants kickstart their journey to healthier eating habits.

Registration is required to attend the “Spice Up Your Life” series. To register, please contact Justine Hays at jah625@cornell.edu<mailto:jah625@cornell.edu> or 716-433-8839 ext. 238.
