(NIAGARA FALLS, NY) – Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center (NFMMC) is pleased to announce the appointment of locally renowned surgeons, Dr. Robert Hodge, MD and Dr. Jeffrey Schratz, MD, to its esteemed surgical team, effective July 1, 2023.

Throughout his 34-year career, Dr. Hodge has made significant contributions to prestigious medical institutions such as Mount Saint Mary’s Hospital and Health Center and Eastern Niagara Hospital – Lockport. He earned his medical degree from the University of Louisville and completed his surgical residency at the University at Buffalo.
With a focus on general surgery, Dr. Schratz has been an invaluable member of the medical team at Eastern Niagara Hospital since 1991. He also maintains a strong affiliation with Kenmore Mercy Hospital. Dr. Schratz earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and gained valuable experience at the Immunology Lab at Harvard Medical School, further enriching his expertise.

Founded in 1895, Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center (NFMMC) has a long tradition of serving the Niagara community. NFMMC’s hospital and primary stroke program are accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care, and its primary care network is accredited by the National Committee for Quality Assurance.
