Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center is now offering dialysis service inhouse to medical center patients.
Inpatient dialysis treatment will now be administered by Memorial staff throughout the medical center’s campus, eliminating the need for an outside renal contractor.
With a capital investment of $200,000, the newly purchased Tablo dialysis machines will be located in the medical center’s emergency department, intensive care unit, and cardiac/stroke unit. Designed to offer a better patient and provider experience, the new machines feature touchscreen guidance, portability, wireless connectivity for real time data, and a quick 15 minute set up time, meaning an earlier start and better treatment outcome.
In addition to newly purchased and upgraded equipment, this investment also means added clinical jobs that specialize in performing renal services.
