NIAGARA FALLS, NY – Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center (NFMMC) has announced that its current universal masking policy will remain in effect, which directs all personnel and visitors to wear masks in patient care areas and in public hallways where patients or visitors may be present.
In accordance with the recent update from the NY State Department of Health, NFMMC will follow CDC recommendations regarding mask guidance. This includes masking in healthcare facilities in counties experiencing high COVID community transmission levels, which is currently the case for Niagara County and large areas of Western New York.
NFMCC will monitor local COVID transmission levels weekly to reevaluate further changes to its masking policy.
