Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center and Schoellkopf Health Center announced today that Richard Braun, Jr. has joined the Medical Center as Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, effective May 18.
Braun has extensive healthcare leadership experience, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Operations and Chief Operating Officer for Upper Allegheny Health System (UAHS), where he also served as Senior VP of Finance and Chief Financial Officer, and as Regional Chief Financial Officer for Kaleida Health-Twin Tier.
Prior to his roles with UAHS, Braun spent time working in Amsterdam, NY, Brooklyn, NY, and at Buffalo General Hospital. Braun holds a Bachelor of Science, Accounting from Canisius College. Following his graduation from Canisius, he joined the accounting firm Ernst & Young, LLP as Senior Manager.
