The Auxiliary of Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center has awarded its Esther Werner & Helene Barter Scholarship to Jaedyn Hoyt, payroll coordinator at the Schoellkopf Health Center.
Hoyt, a Niagara Falls resident, received her bachelor’s degree from Niagara University and is working toward a master’s degree in strategic planning at NU.
Awarded annually since 1989, the scholarship is given in memory of Werner, Memorial’s first social worker, and her sister, a long-time Medical Center volunteer. Auxilian Judy Shahin chaired the scholarship committee.
