NIAGARA FALLS, NY — The Auxiliary of Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center (NFMMC) has once again placed a “Lighting with Love” tree in the upper lobby of the hospital. Each ornament represents a gift in memory or in honor of a friend or loved one.
Ornaments cost $5 and can be purchased in the medical center gift shop or by calling 716-278-4470. Proceeds will go toward a blanket warmer for patients receiving treatment in the Golisano Medical Oncology Center at Memorial.
Lighting with Love has been an Auxiliary tradition since 1989. Jane Schroeder and Sue Janese are co-chairing this year’s event.

Founded in 1895, Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center (NFMMC) has a long tradition of serving the Niagara community. NFMMC’s hospital and primary stroke program are accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care, and its primary care network is accredited by the National Committee for Quality Assurance. Memorial’s inpatient services include a cardiac/stroke unit, a medical–surgical unit, an ICU, a Labor and Delivery unit, and an Adult Inpatient Psychiatry unit, the only one of its kind in Niagara County.
