Junior volunteers from Western New York schools are making valuable contributions to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center this summer while experiencing some of the benefits of community service.
Junior volunteer Raven Thuman, center, of Niagara Falls decided to turn the tables on “take your daughter to work day” and bring her dad, Dennis Thuman, to the hospital to help her serve refreshments to hospital visitors with Memorial volunteer Sam Giancola, right. Needless to say, their “coffee caravan” brought smiles to a lot of faces.
