Family Medicine & Pharmacy Residency

Medical Education

Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, the only teaching hospital in Niagara County, offers residency programs in Family Medicine and Pharmacy.

When it comes to competeing with other residency programs within a hospital, Memorials limited offer of only 2 residency programs means uncompetitive room for growth and learning!

Our Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) program trains family medicine physicians to meet the comprehensive needs of patients in our community. Family Practice Residency has been an important part of Memorial’s mission and service to the community since the 1970s. Since 1979, many of our program’s graduates have chosen to remain in practice in Western New York.

Family Medicine & Pharmacy coordinate efforts to provide the best possible health care with a focus on patient safety!

Serving as a bridge between education and practice

The only PGY-1 program in Niagara County, Memorial’s Pharmacy Residency program was founded in 2014 and is accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.

We Look For The Brightest!

Memorial’s academic affiliations with the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) and D’Youville College extend beyond our residency programs. We are also a clinical education teaching site for medical, pharmacy, and nursing students completing clinical rotations.

We are looking for team-oriented residents to join our programs.

If you are looking for a well-rounded educational experience in a supportive, team-oriented environment, Memorial is the place for you.
