Dr. Freeland's academic achievements are a testament to his commitment to excellence in orthopaedics. A western New York native, he began his journey at the State University of New York at Buffalo, where he earned a degree in physical therapy. Dr. Freeland pursued further studies at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he obtained his medical degree and completed his orthopedic surgical residency. His pursuit of expertise led him to the University of Pennsylvania, where he finished an orthopedic foot and ankle fellowship.

His past roles include Orthopedic Surgeon at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ, where he also held the position of Division Head of Foot and Ankle and Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery.

Dr. Freeland's active memberships with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopaedics, and the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society demonstrate his dedication to the orthopaedic community.
