Schoellkopf Park
Looking for a quiet moment? Enjoy historic Schoellkopf Park located between Pine and Walnut avenues directly behind the hospital. Take a walk along beautiful garden paths, enjoy the Schoellkopf Park fountain and relax on a park bench. Originally built in 1913, the award-winning restoration of the park was completed in 2007.
Dining
Our new Tenth Street Café is now open! Memorial’s all-new dining experience, complete with pizza oven and WiFi access, is serving delicious, homemade menu items weekdays from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Café’s lounge and seating areas, including vending machines, are open 24/7.
Tim Horton’s Café and Bake Shop
Tim Horton’s Café and Bake Shop, located next to the hospital’s main lobby, is open:
Monday through Friday 6 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Seating is available on the mezzanine of the hospital’s main lobby.
Chapel
If you need a quiet place for prayer, meditation, or a peaceful moment, a chapel is located on the mezzanine of the hospital’s main lobby.
Banking
An ATM machine is located in the hospital’s main lobby.
Gift Shop
Memorial’s Gift Shop is located on the ground floor adjacent to the hospital’s main entrance. Staffed primarily by volunteers from Memorial’s Auxiliary, the shop offers a wide selection of gifts, cards, jewelry, accessories, baby items, toys, candy, and personal items for patients. For a special gift for a patient – or for yourself – be sure to stop by the Memorial Gift Shop.
The Gift Shop is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. All proceeds benefit Memorial Medical Center.
Private Rooms
Memorial Medical Center offers private patient rooms at no extra charge for hospital patients and Schoellkopf Health Center residents.
