Dr. Scott Nodzo is a lower extremity joint replacement & reconstruction physician for UBMD Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. He is also a clinical assistant professor of orthopaedic surgery at the Jacobs School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo. Nodzo is a native of Auburn, NY, but has spent a lot of time in Western New York. A graduate of the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Nodzo also completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University at Buffalo.
Nodzo completed his fellowship in adult reconstruction and joint replacement at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. He also served in the U.S. Air Force. Nodzo is actively involved in research receiving the Jenette Wilkins Award from the Muscoloskeletal Infection Society and The Hospital for Special Surgery Richard S. Laskin Award. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Adult Reconstruction Knee Program Committee as well as the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Device, Biologics and Technology Committee.
