Dr. Michael Mitchell
Chief of Surgery
Dr. Mitchell is a clinical associate professor at the University of Buffalo School of Medicine and a member of the Erie County and New York State Medical Societies. Dr. Mitchell established a Vascular and Endovascular Surgery program at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center in 2005.
A general, vascular and laparascopic surgeon, Dr. Mitchell is a graduate of Cansius College and the SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine. He completed his surgical training at SUNY Buffalo. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Gurteshwar Rana
Surgeon
Dr. Gurteshwar Rana completed her residency in general surgery at the Providence Hospital/Michigan State University. She then went on to train in advanced gastrointestinal and minimally invasive surgery.
Dr. Gurteshwar Rana completed medical school at the Ross University School of Medicine.

Surgeon
Dr Dang Pham, MD carried out his residency at Baystate Medical Center and Tufts University School of Medicine and later his internship at Vernon Regional Hospital, Vernon, France
Dr. Dang Pham, MD studied medicine at the University of Paris VI, Pierre et Marie Curie and the Broussais-Hotel Dieu Faculty of Medicine, Paris, France

Dr. Mojdeh S. Kappus, M.D.
Surgeon
A former Sarnoff Cardiovascular Research Foundation fellow, Dr. Kappus completed post-graduate training in laparoscopic and robotic surgery. She has published several peer-reviewed research studies.
Dr. Kappus, who grew up in Newfane, is a graduate of Harvard College and the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. She completed both her internship and residency in general surgery at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, N.Y., and subsequently completed an advanced surgery fellowship at Harvard Medical School/Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston.

Dr Mitchell performed a Carotid Artery cleaning on my Right side. Went great! Still experiencing some minor "side effects" to be expected. Will have him do the left side when he deems the proper time. Would totally recommend!
