Robert M. Difrancesco’s Story

Category: Patient Stories

I am very pleased to prepare this “glowing” report to you regarding my recent admission to the Schoellkopf Health Center.

I entered Schoellkopf Friday, March 17, 2017, and was discharged on Thursday, March 23, 2017. The care that I received was very supportive and thorough-as you would expect from such a facility. What was most surprising and rewarding for me was the “Schoellkopf Culture” that I encountered. As you are aware, it is very difficult to qualify or quantify culture, so I will simply say that your staff was always upbeat, positive, and focused on my recovery. I observed this behavior with every resident/patient on my floor and in PT/OT. There was never a moment that my request or need was not met in a timely fashion with this positive caring culture.

Please extend my gratitude to your staff on the first floor (Room 1003) and in PT/OT for taking great care of me. It is very difficult to create a positive, caring culture. You should be very proud that such a culture exists at Schoellkopf.

Very Yours Truly,

Robert M. Difrancesco
