Dr. Bala Thatigotla
Bala Thatigotla, M.D., M.R.C.S. (UK), F.A.C.S., performs general, laparoscopic, robotic and bariatric surgery. He also treats patients with acid reflux, hernias (including complex hernias), and gallbladder issues.
A graduate of Sri Venkateswara Medical College, Tirupati, India, he did post-graduate work in General Surgery at The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and completed a fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery/Bariatric Surgery at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, TN
Dr. Bala is board certified in General Surgery by both the American Board of Surgery and The Royal College of Surgeons (UK).
Dr. Vikram Vattipally
Vikram Vattipally, M.D., M.R.C.S. (UK), performs general, laparoscopic, robotic and bariatric surgery. He also treats patients with acid reflux, hernias (including complex hernias), and gallbladder issues.
A graduate of Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad, India, he completed his fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic/Bariatric Surgery at Penn State University's Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.
Dr. Vattipally is board certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery, The Royal College of Surgeons (UK), and NTR University of Health Sciences, Andhra Pradesh, India.
Dr. Kolli Venkatesware
Venkatesware Kolli, M.D., F.A.C.S. graduated from the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) in Pondicherry, India. He attended The College of Physicians & Surgeons of Columbia University at Harlem Hospital in New York City for his residency training in general surgery before attending Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Roswell Park Cancer Institute, completing two fellowships in head and neck surgical oncology. He also has advanced training and extensive experience in surgery of the breast and in minimally invasive robotic and laparoscopic surgical procedures, including single site robotic gallbladder removal.
Dr. Kolli is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons and the American Head and Neck Society.
He has been an attending surgeon at Niagara Falls Memorial since 1999.
