Behavioral Health

At the New Memorial, we promote health and wellness for the whole person.

An important component of that mind-body connection is found in our behavioral health offerings.

Memorial offers a continuum of behavioral health services ranging from Niagara County's only dedicated psychiatric emergency department to inpatient behavioral health care to the newest and most progressive outpatient behavioral health service in Western New York – the Niagara Wellness Connection Center.

Caring. Considerate. Confidential.

We provide quality care to all in a safe and compassionate environment using therapeutic approaches that respect the uniqueness and dignity of every behavioral health client.

Niagara Wellness Connection Center

Opened in 2014, the new Niagara Wellness Connection Center employs an innovative approach that enables the New Memorial to meet all of an individual's wellness needs under one roof.

Licensed mental health therapists work closely with psychiatrists, primary care doctors, registered nurses and a wellness care coordinator to promote better health -- body and soul.

Unlike traditional behavioral health facilities, the Wellness Connection Center offers clients educational opportunities, physical fitness activities and community services to ensure they receive the support they need to maximize the effectiveness of the care we provide.

The Wellness Connection Center also hosts Continuing Day Treatment -- a supportive program held five days a week with high-quality educational and therapeutic programming by skilled clinicians. Lunch is served and transportation is available.

Medication management -- supportive assistance with monitoring medications to assure continued emotional wellbeing – is also available.
