Volunteers Make a Difference
Memorial Medical Center volunteers enjoy a rewarding experience assisting patients and staff members throughout the hospital and in our satellite facilities.
Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center welcomes all interested in volunteering, whether you are a retiree looking to stay involved in the community, a student looking to gain experience and knowledge in the medical field, or someone willing to fill their spare time. The option to work directly with patients and/or behind the scenes is available to all volunteers.
As key members of the Memorial team, volunteers:
- meet and greet patients and visitors
- staff the information desk and gift shop
- operate the CARExpress patient transportation van
- perform numerous other essential tasks
Accommodations may be possible if there is a specialty area you wish to focus on.
Many of our volunteers are also members of the Auxiliary of Memorial Medical Center.
Volunteers are asked to work a minimum of three hours a week. While on duty, they receive free parking in our attached garage and a ticket for a free meal in the medical center cafeteria. We honor all our volunteers for their valuable contributions during a luncheon held each year. Many of our volunteers are also members of the Auxiliary of Memorial Medical Center.
There has never been a better time to join Memorial team!
For information on volunteering or membership in the Auxiliary, call us at (716) 278-4440 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
