Memorial mammography facility receives reaccreditation

Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center's diagnostic imaging facility at the Summit Healthplex has been granted a three-year reaccreditation by the American College of Radiology's Committee on Mammography Accreditation.

ACR accreditation assures Memorial's patients that the Summit Healthplex meets the highest standards regarding equipment performance and personnel training while delivering high quality mammography.

The ACR evaluated radiologist, technologist and physicist qualifications; equipment; and quality control and quality assurance programs. Mammography image quality and radiation dose levels also were measured.
