Memorial board elects officers for 2006

The Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center Board of Directors has elected Don J. King as chairman and James C. Roscetti as vice chairman for 2006.

King, a medical center trustee since 1985, is chairman of the Polly King Art
Gallery. Roscetti is an attorney with Roscetti & DeCastro, P.C., a Niagara Falls law firm.

King and Roscetti have led the medical center's governing board since it was reorganized in January 2003.

The board also re-elected Cynthia Bianco, deputy superintendent of schools for the Niagara Falls Board of Education, to serve as secretary and Charles G. Rader, chief executive officer of IsleChem, as treasurer.

Elected to the board for three-year terms were Roscetti; Dr. Vijay Bojedla, a Niagara Falls internist; and Margaret M. Toohey, president of the Lewiston Insurance Agency.

Continuing on the 14-member board will be:

• Betty Babanoury, executive director of the Niagara Falls Public Library
• Robert L. Bradley Jr., assistant principal at Gaskill Middle School
• Ronald R. Campbell, chief operating officer for Washington Mills Electro Minerals Corp.
• Stephanie Williams Cowart, executive director of the Niagara Falls Housing Authority
• Trudy Jackson, a Seneca Nation of Indians tribal councilor and member of the Seneca Nation of Indians Health Department Board of Directors
• Dr. Khalid M. Khawar, president of the medical staff at Memorial
• Dr. Mark D. Perry, Memorial's chief of radiology
• Joseph A. Ruffolo, Memorial's president and chief executive officer
