A film crew led by Today producer Dorie Klissas wrapped up two days of taping here Tuesday. Footage shot at The Heart Center of Niagara and in patients' homes will be used for the opening installment of a five-day Today series on cardiac health that is scheduled to air Jan. 23-27. "The fact that Today is focusing on our cutting edge, non-invasive approach to diagnosing and reversing cardiac disease confirms that the work we’re doing here has national implications," Memorial President and CEO Joseph A. Ruffolo said. "We believe it's the future of cardiac care." The segment being taped here is scheduled to be broadcast between 8 and 8:30 a.m. Monday (Jan. 23), just three days before the dedication of Memorial's new ER1 Emergency Department and The Heart Center of Niagara. |
