Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center will dedicate its new, $20 million ER1 Emergency Department and The Heart Center of Niagara at 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26. Scheduled speakers for the Jan. 26 event include Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and Rep. Louise Slaughter. Guided tours for invited guests will be provided afterward and refreshments will be served. Memorial’s soon-to-open ER1 Emergency Department/The Heart Center of Niagara is located on Walnut Avenue at 10th Street in Niagara Falls. This 56,400 square-foot facility, which is connected to the medical center via an overhead walkway, will mark a quantum leap forward in the provision of emergency medical care and cardiac care for the Greater Niagara region. Open houses for the general public will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28 and from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29 at the new facility. |
